    Our Case Structure

    ICG engages with clients for 10-12 week projects during both the Fall and Spring semesters. Each case will consist of an initial 2 week consultant training period, Midpoint Deliverable, Final Deliverable, and Case Review. Client meetings will either be held on a weekly or biweekly basis throughout the duration of the case, as agreed upon by ICG and the client. Case structure is somewhat flexible and can be adjusted prior to the project start date as the client and project manager see fit. 

    Consultant Training

    The first 2 weeks of each semester are spent training staff consultants to meet ICG's performance standards.

    Research & Analysis

    Following an initial client meeting, project teams begin research and analysis based on the client's area of need.

    Midpoint & Deliverable

    Preliminary research and analysis is presented during Midpoint Deliverable. Pivots in research direction and focus are made according to client feedback.

    Analysis & Insights

    Further research and analysis is performed based on Midpoint Deliverable feedback. Final insights and recommendations are composed.

    Final Deliverable

    Strategic insights and recommendations for each of the requested service areas are presented during the Final Deliverable presentation.

    Case Review

    After the Final Deliverable, the project director and manager will meet with the client to answer any final case-related questions and collect client feedback.

    ICG Staff Consultants progress through an intensive, two week training program in the first two weeks of each semester. Our Senior Consultants are required to have prior project experience and are nominated to the position by their respective Project Managers. Project Managers and Project Directors are required to have prior Senior Consultant experience and are nominated to the position by members of the board.
